For many, singing is a phycological hurdal that can only be overcome with repetition and gentle, constructive instruction. This instrument is unlike any other in the sense that it is actually apart of you. When a guitar player picks a bad note, that note isn’t as attached to them as it would be for a singer. In that spirit, our vocal coaches analyze student vocal range and create an exercise plan to strengthen the muscle that is the human voice. Just like any other muscle, a plan needs to be in place for the development of that muscle to react the way you want it to; with control and harmonic objectivity. A bad note is a bad note, and knowing the difference is our teacher’s main educational objective.
